ABOUT US
Oz Choirs and Music Inc is a not for profit, incorporated choral and educational organisation who's aim is to encourage participation in cultural exchange to promote harmony in the wider community. This may be achieved via the artistic expression of multilingual-choral performance, music and dance. OCM produces concerts that create artistic fusion by bringing together specialised choral, vocal and other artistic groups. OCM fosters closer co-operation and collaboration in the choral community by inviting local choirs to participate in multicultural, youth and other festivals. As an educational organisation, OCM is dedicated to make available to the choral industry, specialist workshops in singing, vocal technique,and sight reading. OCM contributes to improving the choral community skills via its fresh approach to music education and learning by inviting highly qualified local academics, practitioners, conductors and international presenters to lead workshops, seminars and formal courses in choral music and musicianship in general. This may be achieved via artistic expression of multilingual-choral performance, music and dance. |
